We have a slew of new mobile phones for you guys.  This month its a new Nokia N78!

Another big prize contest already?  Nope, actually that’s not it.  It’s pretty easy this time around.  We’re just going to send a top qeeper a new phone.  No strings attached.

On the qeep startpage, check out “the greatest qeepers” section.  Here is where the top qeepers in many different categories can be found.   One of the lists is called “top ambassadors”.  If you are in the number 1 spot of this list on the 1st day of the month at 2 p.m. CET, then you get the mobile phone!  Guaranteed.  It’s a pretty easy task for a brand new Nokia.

If you are wondering how you can get to the top of the list, don’t worry it’s pretty easy.  Just invite friends to qeep!  And don’t worry if you don’t win this time, next month you will have another chance. 

There are currently about 400,000 Qeepers and each day about 4000 new ones… but there is always for more. 

Unfortunately I’m not allowed to take part in this contest, or else I would.  That Nokia N78 is pretty sweet.  So start sending those invites!

The results are in!  You sent us your best photos and we looked at each and every one of them.  Finally, we’ve chosen 3 winners to our „The Great Outdoors“ photo contest.  Aren’t the photos beautiful?  We thought so too We want to send out a big “congratulations!” to the winners.  The competition was steep with about 300 photos submitted, so these 3 fascinating photos really earned it!  Soon the winners will receive their qeep prize package fully equipped with a sweet qeep hoodie and other qeep (sur-)prizes. 

The winning Qeepers are Yamini (1), Khoga (2), and Kevin 21 (3).

On that note, we also want to send out a big “thank you!” to everyone who submitted photos.  Even though there are only 3 winners, there were so many beautiful and cool photos submitted.  You can view the pictures by searching the photoblog tag “contest”.

We really enjoyed looking at them and you all made choosing quite a hard job!  But don’t worry, the photo contest went so well that there will be more in the future; so be on the look-out!  Until then, keep photoblogging!

Here it is!  We present to you our new and improved version of qeep.  If you are already a qeeper, you can upgrade to the new version under “My qeep”.  If you are not already a qeeper, there’s no better time to become one than now.  Download qeep to your phone via the website or from your mobile at wap.qeep.net and join the community.

So what’s new?  Check out the big pinboard where you can leave a message for everyone to see.  Also, find out who is the most active in the greatest qeepers section on the homepage.  Further more, we’ve tuned up the top photoblogs section making it much better.  Besides that, there are just a lot of little improvements throughout the whole app.  We hope you like it as much as we do and of course, if you have any suggestions on how to make qeep even better, please let us know.

A fresh new version of qeep is coming out next week.  We’ve packed it full of new tools and features just for you.  You’ll get to see it very soon.  We’re sure you guys are as excited as we are. 

We put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into the development and testing of our new version.  The tech guys didn’t even see their families for a few weeks, but the deadline had to be kept!  We’re delivering it on time, just like we promised you.  So be on the look-out because it’s coming soon and it’s better than ever; complete with top 10 lists of photobloggers, gamers and even a community pinboard!  You’ll definitely want to check it out and explore all of the fun new features.

You’ve probably seen them by now; the symboles that display in front of the names on your friends list.  Well just in case there are any questions, here’s a rundown of what they mean.

When you are in “qeep me” status, other Qeepers can send you a QMS, even if they aren’t on your friends list.

You can send Sound Attacks to Qeepers who have this symbol.

If someone sends you a QMS while you aren’t online, you’ll receive a notification SMS.

These symbols show whether the Qeeper is a guy or a girl.
